Trials and Tribulations of Web Design

As we all know Google loves content. I guess my big concern is how to design our initial pages so they both look good and have text.. Seems to be a fine line here somewhere. While the support and forums will contain lots of text concerning webhosting support and plan specifications the main index page has me concerned..

Xlinternet has a Google pagerank of 5.. How to duplicate that? We'll I have to first of all get links back to our site. First thing I have to do is add content each and every day.. That's one of the reasons for this Blog. I want to follow our action plan and writing about our progress each and everyday will certain help us to stay focused.

Action plan:

Write articles focused on webhosting.. Something like here
Submit our site to webhosting directories

Aquired www.xlinternet.com Customer base

Ok here we go. We've aquired the customer base of XLinternet and it's time to kick it!

We've bought some serious Dell servers with dual XEON cpu's for our new cluster. We are transferring all clients to the Hsphere panel and getting away from Ensim.. We'll keep the Ensim panels for dedicated servers..

While Ensim is a decent panel we've found it to be too problematic under load. That's not a fault with Ensim but just the fact that it does not work on a cluster. We've been using a Hsphere cluster for a few years in our Singapore operation and it simply rocks.
